Our Story
Maddie Hatter Knits is a hand-knit goods company based in Massachusetts. Our story starts in the fall of 2016, when four friends (Kathy, Michelle, Heather, & Fran) came together to learn a new craft. Thanks to an abundance of patience from our teachers, much laughter, and a cocktail or three, we learned the art of knitting. Fast forward a few years later, and Maddie Hatter Knits was born. The name serves as a nod to Kathy's first grandchild, Madelyn "Maddie" Grace.
Our Products
Through the years, we have experimented with different needles, patterns, and materials. All of our knitwear is handmade locally with the best quality yarn — ethically-sourced from the United States, England, and South America, with minimal impact on the environment. We have a variety of colors, styles, weights, and sizes to choose from. If you have something in mind that we don't have in stock, we're happy to fulfill custom orders.
